Dog Walker

**You need to have your license and drive a van or suv. No other vehicles will be accepted.**

**Job Summary**

**Duties**:

- Walk dogs of various breeds and sizes in all weather conditions
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs in your care
- Maintain Control: Use voice commands, body language, and positive reinforcement to keep the dogs responsive and under control.
- Provide exercise, playtime, mental stimulation and companionship for the dogs
- Follow specific instructions provided by dog owners regarding routes, behavior, and any special requirements
- Cleanup: Be responsible for picking up after the dogs to maintain cleanliness.
- Establish Boundaries: Set clear boundaries for the dogs and ensure they understand and respect these limits.
- Provide Engagement: Offer physical and mental stimulation through play and exploration to keep the dogs engaged and happy

**Requirements**:

- Previous experience working with dogs is preferred but not required
- Ability to handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Strong communication skills to interact with dog owners and provide updates on their pets
- Physical fitness to walk for extended periods and handle dogs that may need to be on leash or exhbit high energy levels
- Customer service skills to ensure client satisfaction

Pay: $400.00-$800.00 per week
