The Service Supervisor reports to the Branch Manager. This role will help facilitate the organizing of employee’s, managing work in shop, ensure all safety rules are followed as well as help with service work estimates and warranty repair estimates.

Main Responsibilities
- Achievable goals for revenue and gross profit set by Branch Manager
- Assist in hiring and supervise competent and experienced service techs and welders
- Open and close work orders for service jobs using current ERP system
- Co-ordinate workload with Branch Manager and direct reports
- Adhere to all Safety regulations set forth by Aspen’s safety program
- Maintain close and open working relationships with other departments

Secondary Responsibilities
- Ensure all material and instructions are present for each work cell.
- Build and foster excellent communications with fellow employees, Supervisors, Team Leaders, Shipper / Receiver, and the Procurement Department
- Identify trends on inventory & parts supply and communicate to the Procurement Department
- Develop and supervise a regular cleaning schedule to ensure the area is well organized, labeled, etc.
- Create and submit general supplies orders to Procurement Department
- Ensure tools repaired as required - as approved by Branch Manager

Experience and Education
- Previous experience supervising multi-disciplinary service teams.
- Experience with industrial equipment, trucks and trailers preferably in heavy haul.
- Experience at communication with various personality types and various levels of urgency or challenge, and able to adjust personal style accordingly

Working Conditions
- Regular exposure to industrial shop hazards which require additional protection from noise, fall hazards and air quality
- Regular fast pace or work with tight deadlines
