Our very busy medical office is seeking for an enthusiastic **very detail-orientated** surgical coordinator with **very flexible working hours**, strong ethics, interpersonal skills, and team player.
Roles and responsibilities as surgical coordinator:
- Giving patients paperwork to fill out, assisting patients with signing surgical consent and filling all the documents necessary for booking their surgery when needed.
- Providing patients with pre
- and post-operative instructions, when patients call in.
- Managing surgical documents, gathering and inputting patients' information, putting together their surgical charts, calculating and ordering their intraocular lens
- Ensuring all surgical cases are scheduled in a timely manner with accuracy in accordance with the Physician or Surgeon's directions.

**Qualifications**:
- University Degree preferred, High School diploma is a MUST
- One year of medical receptionist experience is preferred
- One year of surgical coordinator experience is a Strongly Preferred
- Connect Care Strongly Preferred
- Experience in Ophthalmology is preferred
- Excellent English (speaking, reading, and writing)
- Comfortable working with MS Word, Excel and EMR (Accuro)
- Excellent data entry/word processing skills
- Excellent spelling, grammar, editing and proofreading skills
- Familiarity with medical terminology, medical records, and medical coding.
**Job Type**: FULL TIME
**Salary**: $18/hour and up depending on qualifications and experience
