**The Team**
The Primary Care Finance and Administration team is a dedicated and collaborative group of eleven professionals, including a team lead Budgets & Accounting and a team lead Audit & Administration, seven financial & program data analysts, two evaluation & compliance analysts, and a director. This established team plays a vital role in supporting and enhancing the Primary Care Network for the citizens of British Columbia. They work closely with regional directors, the Ministry, Health Authorities, and Primary Care Networks, all while fostering an inclusive environment that values diverse perspectives and a shared commitment to improving healthcare outcomes.
**The Role**
As the Financial & Program Data Analyst, you will conduct proactive reporting and analysis of financial and other quantitative information pertaining to the Primary Care Division strategic initiatives; participate in the development and maintenance of a framework for setting, measuring, analyzing, and reporting on financial and other quantitative performance; and assess and make recommendations on the financial implications of new initiatives. **Qualifications**:
**Education and Experience Requirements**
- Degree in business/public administration, statistics, commerce, economics, or in a related field and three (3) years of *related experience; or
- Diploma in business/public administration, statistics, commerce, economics, or in a related field and five (5) years of *related experience.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.
**Related experience must include the following**:
- Experience developing financial analytical/reporting frameworks and analyzing financial reports.
- Experience in budget development, tracking and financial and data analysis.
- Experience preparing reports, briefing notes, and relevant communications materials for and briefing senior executives.
- Experience building and maintaining effective relationships with stakeholders.
- Experience with issues management and strategic problem solving.
- Experience in analyzing and evaluating program performance.
- Experience with contract management.
- Experience presenting recommendations to management or executive.
- Experience in financial evaluation.
- Experience in project management.
- Experience in Power BI.
- Experience working in the health sector.
