**As a member of this team, you will be responsible for**:
- Learning and analyzing business operations, processes and technology landscape to identify opportunities for improvement with a focus on maximizing value.
- Engaging with business and technical stakeholders to define and document business requirements, product visions and function designs.
- Communicating the product vision and providing direction to delivery squads and other stakeholders throughout the organization.
- Prioritizing and managing product backlogs, including writing user stories, epics, bugs and test cases to ensure work is focused on delivering maximum value and aligned with strategic goals.
- Managing product design, dependencies and trade-offs and with the ability to resolve cross-team dependencies and competing priorities.
- Lead delivery squads through iterative releases, while adapting a scrum framework with a focused attention on in-sprint commitments and continuous improvement.
- Ensure product quality by defining and refining acceptance criteria and participating in testing and validation activities.
- Working with other Product Owners, Product Managers and business stakeholders to plan business readiness and change management activities, to develop and communicate product release plans and setting expectations for the delivery of new functionality.
**To succeed in this role, you have**:
- Experience in defined benefit pension administration or experience as Business Analyst in the financial sector.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, and analyze, information with attention to detail and accuracy.
- Outstanding communication, presentation, and leadership skills
- The ability to effectively articulate ideas/problems/solutions to technical and non-technical audiences.
- A self-driven, proactive attitude
- Knowledge of agile principals and frameworks (e.g. Scrum, Kanban).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent problem-solving skills - critical thinking, decision making and creativity.
- Proficiency in SQL
- A technical background with knowledge of software development and web technologies and/or pension administration would be an asset
