**Reports to**: Shipping & Receiving Manager

**Primary Responsibility**:
Reporting to the Shipping & Receiving Manager, the primary responsibility of the Shipping and Receiving Administrator is to coordinate shipments and ensure the accurate and timely delivery of goods.

**Key Accountabilities**:
**Shipping Coordination**:

- Collaborate with suppliers, carriers, and internal stakeholders to arrange shipments and ensure timely delivery of goods.
- Prepare shipping documents, such as bills of lading, shipping labels, and export/import documentation.
- Coordinate with customs authorities to ensure compliance with international shipping regulations.
- Monitor and track shipments to provide accurate and up-to-date information to relevant parties.
- Address any shipping-related issues or delays promptly to minimize disruptions.

**Receiving Process Management**:

- Oversee the receiving process, including the verification, inspection, and documentation of incoming goods.
- Collaborate with warehouse personnel to ensure accurate inventory counts and resolve discrepancies.
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments to address quality issues or missing items.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of received goods to facilitate easy retrieval and inventory management.

**Documentation and Reporting**:

- Maintain accurate records of shipments, receipts, and other relevant documentation.
- Generate regular reports on shipping and receiving activities, including performance metrics and KPIs.
- Analyze data to identify trends, areas for improvement, and cost-saving opportunities.
- Develop and implement standard operating procedures (SOPs) to enhance efficiency and compliance.

**Must Haves**:

- Undergraduate degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- Proven experience in shipping and receiving processes, preferably in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
- Strong knowledge of international shipping regulations and customs procedures.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail to ensure accuracy in documentation and inventory management.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities in addressing shipping-related issues and optimizing processes.
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
- Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
- Valid forklift driving ticket.
