**JOB DESCRIPTION**
- Ensures orderly production and distribution of products by pulling orders from inventory, delivering production materials and supplies where needed.
- Contributes to the orderly operation of stock and/or materials storage area.
- Maintains inventory by identifying, labeling, and keeping materials and supplies in stock, recording location of inventory, and reporting shortages.
- Locates materials and supplies by pulling and verifying materials and supplies listed on production orders.
- Perform cycle count to facilitate efficient ordering of material for purchase department.
- Maintains in-process inventory at work centers by delivering and opening materials and supplies.
- Documents materials and records units delivered and location of units.
- Receives credit-return material and supplies from production by verifying materials and supply codes, lot numbers, and quantities.
- Prepares samples shipment by identifying, pulling, packing, crating, loading, and securing product.
- Maintains material-handling equipment by completing pre-use inspections and making operator repairs.
- Operates forklifts, pallet jacks, and other machinery to move items, or signals machine operators to move materials onto and off trucks, ships, and loading docks.
- Keeps inventory, loading areas, and machinery clean.
- Open containers, sort, and catalog materials.
- Learns and adheres to workplace safety regulations.
- Assist in development of the team by observing and coaching individual performance to achieve high standards while fostering a positive culture of work safety
- Assist the supervisor with monitoring time and attendance of team members
- Other duties as required

**EXPERIENCE**
- 1-2 years in a Team Specialist or Team Lead role in a manufacturing environment(essential)
- Strong and proven safe food handling knowledge and practices
- Experience leading and coaching small to medium group activities
- Experience of assisting and developing people
- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques
- Knowledge of Food Quality standards
- Strong PC skills and experience running reports (essential)
- Knowledge of Health & Safety practices and legislation

**EFFORT**

**WORKING CONDITIONS**
- Concrete floor
- Moderate Lifting
- Working at 10 degrees C most of the day
- Fast paced
- Dealing **professionally** with a variety of co-workers **across all areas**

**LANGUAGE**:

- Essential - Advanced English (verbal/reading comprehension/writing)
- French is considered an asset

Pay: $18.85 per hour

Flexible language requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
