Private Household Seeking Psw/caregiver

I am a disabled female in a wheelchair looking to employ a friendly, punctual, reliable, and hardworking caregiver to assist me with my daily routines in my home. I live in an accessible home in the Brampton/Caledon area with my family and small dog. I am looking preferably for an attendant with experience as a PSW (or other related experience). The available shifts are:
**9:00am - 3:30pm** **Sundays (needed on a permanent basis)**

**And**

**7:30am - 4:00pm Fridays and 9:00am - 3:30pm Saturdays (needed on a temporary basis)**

I am looking for 1 or 2 caregivers to work these shifts.

Main Duties:

- assistance with washing, toileting, dressing, and oral care
- safe transfers using ceiling lift
- meal preparation and feeding
- ROM exercises
- light housekeeping

Other Information:

- **no bus service available, ACCESS TO A CAR IS NECESSARY**

**-must be comfortable with small dog**
- training will be provided
- must be a non-smoker
- current CPR and First Aid ideal
- current police reference check
- English speaking required

This is not a cash job - there will be payroll deductions such as CPP, income tax and EI as this job is funded by the government. Pay is biweekly.

**Salary**: $22.00 per hour
