E-commerce Risk Analyst, Dxp

SUMMARY
The e-Commerce Risk Analyst is responsible for monitoring and developing fraud risk strategies and will take the lead in the development of fraud processes, strategies, and controls to mitigate fraud risk from origination. Responsibilities include communicating with customers to confirm order authenticity, as well as collaborating with payment processing partner to conduct investigations and drive results for dispute and customer escalation cases. Other duties include performing payment transaction validation and conducting associated fees analysis based on regular reporting processes.
PRINCIPAL RESPONISIBILITIES
Fraud Prevention
- Build the fraud operations function at Fraud prevention tool including fraud prevention, detection, and investigation.
- Make and execute decisions regarding validity of orders
- Measure, track, and communicate data on fraudulent attempts and chargebacks on a regular basis
- Work cooperatively with external partners to organize MBR/QBR
- Evaluate current processes and suggest any appropriate improvements to increase efficiency, reduce loss, and enhance the customer experience
- Conduct research and competitive intelligence to identify fraud detection and protection tools, processes, and techniques. Educate, influence, and develop solutions which deploy best practice adoption across business units and internal stakeholders/partners.
- Identify Fraud patterns and propose solutions
- Reporting and Ad-Hoc Analysis as per the Fraud levels & adherence of E-Commerce clients to Organizational Policies
- Investigate and resolve fraud incidents
- Perform root cause analysis to inform development of corrective action plans
- Collaborate with the Product team to ensure fraud risk mitigation is addressed in product strategy
- Collaborate with Client Relations manager, eCommerce Operations, and eCommerce Sales Planning team
- Customer communication for payment and dispute resolution
- Enforce LGECI online brand shop Policies and Procedures
Transaction Validation
- Pull and analyze data from a variety of vendors
- Payment processing fee validation
- Provide support as needed to Finance and Accounting departments in relation to Claims, Chargebacks & Refund Escalations
- Report to team all payment related bugs and system issues and track status through resolution
- Daily/Monthly payments and order reconciliation between ERP/PSP/E-Commerce Platform and backup data preparation/automation
- Provide administrative support and assist with special projects as needed
KNOWLDEGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Computer Science, Statistics, or related discipline
- 3 - 4 years’ experience in risk management, cybersecurity, fraud detection, or anti-money laundering
- Proficient with PSP (Cybersource, Adyen, Paypal, etc.)
- Proficient in SQL and familiar with Python or R for data analysis
- Exceptional Excel skills
- Client-Centric Mentality
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to communicate effectively to a variety of audiences with little supervision
