**Job description**

We are looking for people to help maintain and build fibre optic cable systems in the Niagara Region, and within two hours of Niagara. Experience in Cable Construction Techniques or Lineman Training is an asset.

Some technician basic duties: Lashing cable, pulling cable, digging pits, splicing, terminating, ability to use hand/battery tools, working-at-heights, 32' ladder, traffic control, ability to lift 75lbs, work with a small team outdoors 365 days a year, emergency call/after hours availability (OT), Maturity and discretion in dealing with Network information, clients, and the public.

Training Requirements: WAH, WHMIS, CPR(AED), Electrical Safety Awareness

Grade 12

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent
Part-time hours: 40 per week

**Salary**: $36,566.00-$44,692.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- On call
- Overtime
- Weekend availability

COVID-19 considerations:
Mask must be worn within shop and company vehicles at all times when there are other team members/public present.
