Grill Chef

We are looking for a skilled and dedicated Grill Chef to join our team at our high-end steakhouse. As a Grill Chef, you will be responsible for preparing and cooking our premium steaks to perfection, while maintaining our high standards of quality and service.

**Responsibilities**:

- Preparing and cooking steaks to customer preferences and specifications
- Maintaining a clean and organized kitchen and grill area
- Ensuring that all food is prepared to the highest standards of quality and freshness
- Managing inventory, ordering, and cost control
- Collaborating with the rest of the kitchen team to create exceptional menu items

**Requirements**:

- 3+ years of experience in a high-end steakhouse or similar environment
- Experience in grill cooking and the preparation of premium cuts of meat
- Knowledge of food safety and sanitation regulations
- Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
- Passion for creating exceptional food and providing top-notch customer service

**Salary**: $22.00-$30.00 per hour

- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Gatineau, QC J8T 2W3: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (preferred)

**Experience**:

- Cooking: 2 years (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Food Safe, SafeCheck, Food Handler or equivalent (preferred)
