What you'll be doing
As an Information Security Consultant, you’ll be joining CIBC’s Privileged Identity & Access Services team and will be on the front lines of building the future of information security at CIBC. You’ll assess projects for security risks and present recommendations that allow the business to make informed conclusions. You’ll provide insight and support to assemble policies and procedures that safeguard our clients, enhance risk management, and enable our success.
- At CIBC we enable the work environment most optimal for you to thrive in your role you’ll have the flexibility to manage your work activities within a hybrid work arrangement where you’ll spend 1-3 days per week on-site, while other days will be remote._
How you'll succeed-
- Project Management and Delivery - Provide support and deliver on requirements for secrets management in Identity and Access management initiatives as required to support the planning, design and execution of the initiatives and on-going support for access control activities. You will work with the business teams on implementation and adoption of secrets management, management of machine identities and definition of access policies that meet their needs and are in line with overall IAM Program.- Facilitate discussions with business groups across the enterprise to gain understanding of business needs. Support and drive the delivery of our secrets management platform promoting adoption and self service capabilities. Lead detailed design reviews and make recommendations for changes/enhancements.- Continuous Improvement & Reporting - You will be responsible for preparing management and/or executive reporting and other presentation material to communicate existing and new IAM initiatives and ensure successful adoption. You will focus on continuous improvement activities such as process enhancements and sustainable reporting process for governance will be key to your success.Who you are- You can demonstrate expertise with our tools
- Experience with HashiCorp Vault (1 - 3 years) with good exposure to Cloud Secrets Management- You can demonstrate experience in Identity and Access Management domain of Information security including experience working with CI Tools and Version Control Tools. A CISSP or CCSP certification is an asset. Experience managing Linux environments and Python scripting is an asset. Experience managing shared, multi-tenant services and with configuration management is an asset.- You're passionate about people.
