We are seeking creative, dynamic, and committed teachers to join our team at Roch Carrier ES. Roch Carrier Elementary School is home to over 460 students in the Bridlewood neighbourhood of Kanata South. We offer a bilingual Kindergarten program, English programming with Core French in grades 1 to 6, an Early French Immersion Program from grades 1 to 6 as well as both Primary and Junior Gifted English. The Roch Carrier team is a caring, collaborative and compassionate group of educators and support staff committed to working to create an engaged educational experience for our students and to ensure our students develop the social, emotional and academic skills to become contributing citizens of their communities.

Eligibility List

This posting is ONLY open to all Occasional Teachers who DO NOT already have a part time contract.

The French language freeze continues to be in effect. Therefore, if you accept any teaching percentage of French contract, you may only be considered for other French contract positions.

Required OCT Divisional Qualifications: Primary

Required OCT Additional Qualifications: Spec ed Part 2

Additional Requirements (experience, knowledge, education,) for the Position:

- Experience working with and programming for gifted students would be considered an asset.

- This is a relatively small multi grade class of students who have been identified as profoundly gifted.
