We are looking for an experienced cafe baker/barista to join our café in downtown Halifax. In this position, you will be responsible for:

- Taking orders and accepting payments
- Preparing and serving food, coffee & other beverages
- baking pastries according to in-house recipe
- Providing excellent customer service in a clean and welcoming environment
- Discussing menu with customers and answering their questions
- Encouraging sale of our retail coffee accessories
- General cleaning and maintaining all areas of the shop
- Following proper safety and sanitation procedures

Requirements and Qualifications
- Be able to provide exceptional customer service under pressure
- Ability to actively listen and verbally communicate with staff and customers
- Ability to work in busy environment that requires multi-tasking and time-management skills
- Willingness to work with flexible schedule
- Must be able to work 4 days a week including the weekends

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $14.50 per hour
