Trailer Technician

Trailer Pros Canada - Gananoque requires a Trailer Technician responsible for - prepping, inspecting, repairing trailers and wheel bearing & brake service to trailers. You will be responsible for unloading trailers off flat beds and delivering trailers to our other locations. Full-time year-round position with co-pay benefits after 90 days. Pay range $22-$27 hourly based on relative experience, education & training. This position requires good multi-tasking skills as there is a lot of task variety.

Trailer Repairs, incl. but not limited to:

- Wiring repairs
- Lighting repairs
- Changing/installing tires
- Body work, replacing panels
- Brake & bearing service
- electric brake repairs

Qualifications:
**MUST be able to run loader with forks or have willingness to learn**

1. Mechanically inclined to do brakes and bearings on a trailer

2. Able to tow and back up trailers

3. Able to operate a loader with forks are more than willing to learn

4. Flexible with job tasks

5. Must have Valid G License

Position requires occasional heavy lifting, ability to fill out paperwork and quote repairs.

Ocassional operation of tractor & loader w/ forks will be reqiured, experience is an asset.

Hours of operation are Monday to Friday: 8am - 5pm, this is a year round position.

There will be times or working outside in cold or heat.
