We deliver environmental and sustainability services to our clients through the integration of advisory and over 30 technical environmental and engineering disciplines to help clients address some of their most complex challenges around sustainability, we are Making Sustainability Happen.**Job Description**:

- As an EHS / ESG Consultant, you will work closely with our existing team in the development and delivery of consulting and advisory services relating to a "future ready" value proposition: helping our clients in the identification, prioritization, management, and assurance of environmental, social, and governance obligations and imperatives. No two days are the same, so responsiveness and the ability to manage multiple competing priorities will be critical to your success. Our team moves quickly, so we need someone who builds trust through competence, and brings initiative and tenacity to everything they do.
- **Your specific responsibilities will include**:

- Provide support to our existing team on projects relating to EHS management and compliance in the context of local, provincial, federal and/or international requirements.
- Rely upon your strong technical writing skills to lead the preparation of EHS and sustainability management, reporting, and due diligence documentation for our clients.
- Develop technical operating procedures used to define the minimum standard of care to be applied for a variety of topics, such as non-compliance reporting and spill preparedness & response.
- Support with various ESG and sustainability projects, including, but not limited to, materiality assessments, gap analyses, benchmarking, strategy development, and carbon footprinting.
- Interpret client’s needs, operational activities, and context of their organization to create deliverables that meet their expectations and add value to their business.
- Develop, implement, and / or evaluate environmental, health & safety, and/or social management systems.
- Conduct audits and assessments of environmental, health & safety and/or social management systems and management plans in support of new project developments.
- Directly manage projects and be responsible for project planning, coordination, reporting, and tracking schedules and budget.
- Liaising and coordinating with current and prospective clients, including communicating project status and deliverables in meetings and through presentations.
- Mentoring and managing earlier career staff, including supervising and reviewing work produced by earlier career team members, and providing constructive feedback and guidance to support continued professional development.
- Assist in expand EHS / ESG service offerings to mining, industrial, energy and infrastructure sector clients, with the aim of enhancing SLR’s market presence and client portfolio, and growing revenue with key clients.
