**Commissioning and Start-Up Operator - Hydrogen Production Units**

CCL Resources are seeking Commissioning and Start-Up Operators with expertise in hydrogen production units, particularly in syngas generation and handling, steam methane reforming (SMR), gasification, amine systems, hydrogen compression, and CO2 compression. This role will be based in Edmonton, Alberta, and will involve commissioning and startup activities for advanced hydrogen production facilities.

**Key Duties**:

- Commissioning Planning: Collaborate with engineering teams to develop comprehensive commissioning plans for hydrogen production units, including syngas generation, SMR, gasification, amine systems, hydrogen compression, and CO2 compression.
- System Testing: Conduct thorough testing and performance verification of all components within hydrogen production units during the commissioning phase, ensuring adherence to design specifications and operational requirements.
- Troubleshooting: Utilize strong technical expertise to identify and resolve any issues that arise during commissioning and startup activities, including troubleshooting complex systems and implementing effective solutions.
- Startup Operations: Assist with the startup process for hydrogen production units, coordinating with various teams to ensure smooth and efficient operations, and optimizing performance parameters for maximum efficiency and safety.
- Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety protocols and procedures during commissioning, startup, and ongoing operation activities, maintaining a safe working environment for all personnel involved.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate records of commissioning activities, test results, operational parameters, and safety procedures, contributing to the development of comprehensive documentation for future reference and regulatory compliance.

**Essential Requirements**:

- Minimum of 5 years of experience in commissioning, startup, and operation of hydrogen production units, with expertise in syngas generation and handling, SMR/gasification, amine systems, hydrogen compression, and CO2 compression.
- Strong understanding of hydrogen production processes, including chemical reactions, process control systems, and equipment operation.
- Proficiency in troubleshooting complex technical issues and implementing effective solutions.
- Knowledge of safety regulations and best practices in the hydrogen production industry.

**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 12 months

Pay: $75.00-$95.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 - 60 per week
