Person who reviews a child's situation and decides whether to continue or close the file under the Youth Protection Act. It approves the choice of protection regime, the applicable voluntary measures and recommendations to be made to the Chambre de la Jeunesse. It coordinates access and reviews in the presence of users. She may be called upon to participate in case discussions.
Participates in the skills development group. She drafts the various reports and forms related to her duties.

**Qualifications**
University degree in social work or other relevant discipline.

Membership in the Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec or the Ordre des psychoéducateurs et des psychoéducatrices du Québec, or registration in the register of acquired rights for the reserved act "Evaluating a person within the framework of a decision by the Director of Youth Protection or the court under the Youth Protection Act" provided for in Bill 28.

**Experience required**
Other requirements:
Thorough knowledge of the Youth Protection Act and mastery of the concept of protection;
Basic knowledge of psychosocial intervention;
Ability to exercise authority, leadership and professional autonomy;
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and French;
**Conditions and benefits**
Position based in Puvirnituq or telework with occasional trips to Nunavik
Hourly wage between $27.46 and $50.39
35 hours per week
Temporary full-time for 6 months
Group insurance and pension plan
While in Nunavik:
Cargo premium: $115.64/week
Removal premium: $203.66/week without dependant and $358.99/week with dependant;
Retention premium: $114.99/week.
Furnished housing provided
