Freelance Cad Drafter for Custom Millwork Design

**Responsibilities**:

- Conduct site visits to gather accurate measurements and assess project requirements.
- Create detailed CAD drawings and specifications for custom millwork projects.
- Collaborate with our design and production teams to ensure accuracy and feasibility of designs.
- Revise and update designs based on feedback from clients and the production team.
- Ensure all drawings and specifications meet industry standards and client expectations.
- Create detailed 2D and 3D drawings using CAD software such as AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, and MicroStation
- Collaborate with engineers and architects to understand project requirements and specifications
- Review and analyze technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches
- Make necessary modifications to existing drawings based on client feedback or design changes
- Ensure accuracy and completeness of drawings by conducting thorough quality checks
- Prepare documentation and reports related to the drafting process
- Maintain organized files and records of all drawings and related documents

Qualifications:

- Proficiency in CAD software, including AutoCAD, SolidWorks, Revit, and MicroStation
- Strong understanding of drafting principles and techniques
- Experience in 2D animation and modeling is a plus
- Knowledge of building codes, regulations, and standards
- Ability to interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and sketches accurately
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work with precision
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
- Effective communication skills to collaborate with engineers, architects, and other stakeholders
