**Position Overview**:
**Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Monitor the financial performance of the company.
- Compile and analyze financial reporting packages.
- Prepare monthly and annual operating budgets.
- Develop and manage financial controls in accordance with the company’s procedures.
- Communicate financial metrics to senior management.
- Provide financial leadership and direction to department Managers.
- Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable departments.
- Oversee and assist in day-to-day accounting and finance responsibilities.
- Supervise the project/sales administrative team in their day-to-day activities and oversee their workflow processes.
- Identify and prevent discrepancies within and help with the set up and maintenance of our internal control systems.
- Prepare management reports for internal and external stakeholders.
- Research, assess and analyze business needs and requirements.
- Analyze business processes, conduct cost/benefit analysis and measure business results.
- Assist in year-end audit file preparations and annual financial statements.
- Prepare and file monthly Canadian tax filings, HST, EHT, WSIB, etc.
- Complete monthly bank reconciliations.
- Analyze information from a variety of sources to isolate areas of risk and opportunity.
- Conduct research and analysis of various data to support management decision making.
- Assist with payroll and other duties as required.

**Required Knowledge and Experience**:

- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline.
- Accounting designation (CPA), or in process of obtaining.
- 4+ years accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role.
- Experience in the construction industry is an asset.
- Experience with Jonas and/or Texada (Systematics) is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Strong analytical and organizational skills.
- Self-motivated and self-directed.
- Ability to work closely with a senior management team.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

**Salary**: From $60,000.00 per year
