**Who we need**

Reporting to the Reinsurance Senior Manager, we are looking for a **Reinsurance Administrator** to join our growing team. This is a perfect opportunity for a CPA student looking deep their toes and get experience in the world of Finance. You will be responsible for all administrative and corporative aspects related to reinsurance at Securian Canada to ensure the group’s objectives are attained in due time. You will also collaborate with accounting and business analysts.

**What you will do**:

- Manage various forms of reinsurance treaties. You will run and review various reinsurance-related reports. Conduct research and resolve errors in reporting, complete check requisitions for payment to reinsurers, work with Business Analyst to set up new treaties in the system and perform testing on system enhancements.
- Prepare and review paid & outstanding loss bordereaux for making reinsurance recoveries/recoverable.
- Administer member billing. You will review and reconcile monthly report, investigate and resolve discrepancies. You will also be the liaison with reinsurance and reinsurance platforms and performs adjustments to policy records to ensure reinsurance balances are settled appropriately.

**What you will bring**:

- ** The experience**. You are a studying towards your CPA and looking for an opportunity in Finances area? or you have worked in a call center environment, customer service, navigating demands, frustrations, and client communications. You are solution-oriented, and customer-focused, and can manage stressful situations, de-escalating tension. You have a positive attitude with a commitment to high-quality service, respect for confidentiality, and a passion for solving problems.
- ** The interpersonal skills**. You are an active listener with a capacity for empathy and a tactful manner. You have excellent oral and written communication skills with the confidence to pose questions and present findings.
- ** The drive**. You have strong organizational skills and can manage multiple competing deliverables, follow up on results, track information, and complete tasks on time. You are highly collaborative, with a willingness to roll up your sleeves to uncover information and manage priorities based on changing internal and external requirements.
- ** The technical skills**. You are analytical, comfortable working with numbers, and proficient with MS Office.
