**Job Details**

**What you will do**:
Manage warehouse/distribution activities while ensuring the area is a safe, organized, and secure facility. Perform Inspection and service repairs on Portable Fire Extinguishers, Standpipe/Hose and Emergency Lighting Units.

**How you will do it**:

- Organize the warehouse to maximize the use of the available space and maximize the efficiency for shipping & receiving.
- Ship & receive equipment & materials on a daily basis
- Manage parts inventory on a daily basis
- Generate purchase order numbers and order equipment on a daily basis & tracking what has been received
- Use the shop vehicle to deliver parts/equipment to technicians on site
- Perform necessary deficiency repairs of extinguishers, hoses, and emergency lighting based on defects noted on the inspection report.
- Prepare accurate inspection reports and submit to the office once completed.
- Perform monthly/annual inspections of various portable fire extinguishers, emergency lighting units, standpipe and hose systems

**What we look for**:
**Required**
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- PC Skills including Microsoft Windows, Excel, Word, and Outlook
- Ability to lift extinguishers and climb step ladders.
- Ability to work from heights (i.e., Using a scissor lift).
- Valid Canadian Driver’s License with clean abstract.

**Preferred**
- Ability to assist with warehouse duties (shipping/Receiving) is an asset.
- Previous experience with performing 6-year maintenance and Hydrostatic Testing is an asset.
