Pharmacy Technician

East Main Pharmacy is looking for a full-time Registered Pharmacy Technician to join our team. Practicing within their full scope, the Pharmacy Technician works in the dispensary and assists with filling prescriptions and dispensing medication - while providing excellent customer service to all of our patients
**Duties & Responsibilities**
- Greet patients in a friendly and welcoming manner
- Collect relevant patient information and ensure completeness of information
- Enter and renew prescription orders on the computer using Kroll software
- Third party adjudication (if necessary)
- Confirm accuracy and completeness of pharmaceutical products prepared for release
- Complete the final check of prepared prescriptions (compliance packaging)
- General OTC inquiries from patients and referral to Pharmacist when required
- Maintain pharmacy stock through inventory control systems
- Provide exceptional customer service in person and over the phone
**Qualifications**
- Accreditation as a Registered Pharmacy Technician in good standing and adherence to the Standards of Practice with the Ontario College of Pharmacists
- Experience as a Registered Technician is an asset
- Experience using Kroll is an asset but not necessary
- Flexibility to work some evenings and weekends
- Comfortable working in a fast paced environment
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Exceptional customer service skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Positive attitude
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Pay: $26.00-$28.00 per hour
