Landscape Technician

**Shute Landscapes** began as a gardening company over fifteen years ago. From humble beginnings we have grown into a design and build landscaping company. We are passionate about our work and are currently looking for like-minded individuals to grow with us. We are currently looking for a Landscape Technician to join our team.
- Perform various gardening and landscaping tasks. Bed preparations, install plants and trees, mulch, etc. Pruning and weeding. Installing sod.
- Carpentry: Fence and deck installations.
- Stonework: Patios and walkways with flagstone and pavers.

**Own Tools/Equipment**:

- Own Tools are an asset, company tools will be provided when needed
- Employee will provide their own safety boots, gloves and eye protection
- Mask and ear protection will be provided

**Work Location**:

- Various Residential Locations (Stratford, St. Mary's and surrounding community)

**Work Site Environment**:

- Outdoors

**Education**:

- Landscape Gardener/Technician Trade Certification
- College, CEGEP or other non-university certificate or diploma from a program of 1 year to 2 years or equivalent experience

**Experience**:

- One to three years of experience, more will be considered an asset

**Equipment and Machinery Experience**:

- Small engine equipment, Power tools, Weed trimmer, Mower

**Driver's License** **Valid G license is preferred**Terms of employment:

- Seasonal, Full time, Day

**Wage**:
$20.00 to $30.00 / Hour based on experience

**Hours**:
30.00 to 40.00 Hours / Week

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Seasonal
Contract length: 8 months
Part-time hours: 35-40 per week

**Salary**: $20.00-$30.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift

Masks and sanitizer will be provided. Common surfaces are sanitized regularly.
Worksites are outdoors.
