**Job Summary**:
We are seeking a dedicated Cashier and Kitchen Helper to join our team. The individual main duties are but not limited to greeting and processing customers' orders, processing payments from customers, answering any customers' inquiries, as well as assisting in food preparation, meal serving, and maintaining cleanliness in the kitchen.

**Duties**:

- Greet and process customers' orders
- Process payments from customers
- Answers any inquiries from customers
- Assist in food preparation under the guidance of the kitchen staff
- Support in serving meals to customers or staff
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of kitchen areas
- Handle and store food items following proper food safety guidelines
- Assist in washing dishes and kitchen utensils
- Help with inventory management and stocking supplies

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a cafe or kitchen environment 1 year or less
- Knowledge of basic food handling and safety practices is a plus. Must possess food safe certification or willing to take one

**Skills**:

- Proficient in speaking, writing and reading English
- Strong customer service skill
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced kitchen setting
- Familiarity with food preparation and handling procedures
- Strong teamwork and communication skills
- Willingness to learn and take direction from kitchen staff
- Interest in the food industry and willingness to assist in various kitchen tasks

**Job Type**: Part-time

Expected hours: 30 - 36 per week
