Battlefield Equipment Rentals, a division of Toromont Industries Ltd., a proud Canadian and publicly traded company (TSX: TIH), is currently recruiting for a **Yardperson**. This position is located in **Ajax, Ontario.**
- Yard cleanliness and organization;
- Assist in counter duties as required;
- Load and unload customers;
- Assist the shipper/receiver with shipments and deliveries;
- Assist drivers as required;
- Assist technicians with repairs or maintenance of small engine rental equipment;
- Maintain a safe working environment;
- Help customers load and unload when required;
- Perform other duties as assigned.

**Qualifications**:

- Requires a positive attitude and friendly customer service skill;
- Must be organized, diligent and detail-oriented;
- Must possess solid verbal and written communication skills in English;
- Must be capable of working in a fast-paced, team environment with hard deadlines;
- Ability to operate a forklift;
- Willingness to learn and possibly travel for training purposes.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $16.00-$18.00 per hour
