**Overview **Tri-City Equipment was established in 1988 and has grown to be an industry leader in Southern Ontario. We’re continuing to grow and are looking for a Oil and Lube Technician to be based within the Guelph ON Region. This position will be full time road position with a up fitted service van. **Primary Duties & Responsibilities**
- Travel throughout Southern Ontario performing various services on heavy equipment, clean valid 'G' License Required
- Communication internally as well as with our customers to keep everyone informed of resource requirements and equipment deficiencies
- Maintain and service Excavators, Articulated Dump Trucks, Dozers, Loaders, attachments and miscellaneous pieces of heavy equipment.
- Service calls to repair and maintain equipment on various mining and construction sites in the area
- Perform various related duties as required

**Qualifications & Experience**:

- Apprentices will be considered as this position offers substantial growth within the company for apprenticeships.
- Anyone looking for an apprenticeship will be considered as this role has proven valuable for people entering the trade.
- Previous experience in the medium / heavy duty equipment or the automotive industry
- Clean valid drivers license
- Experience with applicable technology and software
- High degree of product and technical knowledge

- Professional conduct is a must to be successful in this role
- A self starter who works well alone or as part of a team
- Excellent problem-solving skills
- Strong communication skills are needed to ensure the correct parts are ordered
- Variety of skills to service and repair in timely and effective manner

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
