The Ministry department at Central Community Church (Central) is a vibrant and growing area within our organization. We are currently in need of a dynamic, passionate and qualified individual to serve as an Associate Pastor at Central.

**WHAT YOU WILL DO**:

- Oversee 300 people through Groups (average 30 leaders with 10 people in each)
- Disciple Group leaders including encouragement, accountability, group management etc.
- Recruit and Train new Group leaders in alignment with our leadership system
- Participate along with your Group leaders in group leader meetings, group launches, assimilating new people into groups
- Lead a Community Group
- Assist Group Leaders with: group set up; launching; communicate information to assigned Administration personal for tracking & advertising
- Be fully engaged Sundays 8am-2pm unless on vacation or special permission from direct report
- Attend all Staff meetings and Team meetings unless on vacation or special permission from direct report
- Attend and be fully engaged on Encounter nights unless on vacation or special permission from direct report
- Perform Weddings, Funerals, Baptisms, as requested
- Provide initial contact for people from your geographical area (and other areas assigned to you) assisting them in getting connected at Central (primarily through Groups)
- Care: This includes facilitating visitation, prayer, preliminary counselling, and referring to external support services in alignment with our Care System
- Provide confidential pastoral guidance for people as required
- Use our QR code/CCB systems to track connections with people including initial and 30day follow ups
- Work alongside all departments to collectively serve our Church family.
- Work with volunteers/sub-contractors
- Approach the day to day work activities with a flexible and positive attitude
- Perform other duties in conjunction with Human Resources as assigned by direct report

**WHO YOU ARE**:

- A person who has a Bible College degree or equivalent.
- A person who has a minimum 3-5years Ministry experience.
- Digitally Savvy. Comfortable with social media platforms such as Facebook, instagram,
Youtube etc.
- Able to lead volunteer teams
- A person who demonstrates excellent interpersonal skills
- Reliable, dependable, teachable and have a strong work ethic.
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative easily.
- A person who has a valid driver’s license and access to a vehicle.
- A person who has a working knowledge of Office 365 including Microsoft Word, Excel,
Outlook and Powerpoint.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$45,500.00 per year
