**JOB** SUMMARY**: The **Grant Writer** reports to and works under the direction and supervision of the Budget and Funding Controller within Central Finance.
**PURPOSE & SCOPE OF THE POSITION**:
The Grant Writer will carry out their responsibilities in alignment with the 2019 Community Plan including future revisions and updates.

**BASIC QUALIFICATIONS**:
Minimum Requirements:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Public Administration, Business Administration, Communications or related field and two (2) years of relevant grant or proposal writing experience
Other Related Skills:
- Exemplary communications skills both written and verbal
- Ability to manage and execute multiple tasks within the deadlines providedDemonstrated commitment to professionalism, integrity, accountability, transparency, accuracy and confidentiality
- Proficient computer skills in Microsoft Office suite software
- Comfort and familiarity with using and learning new software databases
- Demonstrated interpersonal, communication and organizational skills
- Ability to take direction and prioritize competing demands
- Commitment to SNGR values, culture, community bylaws and standards
