Edmonton, Canada Care At Home Trust Full time

Job Duties
- Help clients with personal hygiene, dressing, bathing, feeding, and other daily tasks according to the care plan
- Perform basic health care services for clients according to the care plan
- Help with general light housekeeping
- Work with the health care team like LPNs, RNs, in following the care plan
- Observe and report on client condition
- Keep up with in-service training
- Other duties assigned

Skills & Qualifications:

- Graduate from a recognized provincial Health Care Aide program
- Gerontology experience an asset
- Communicate effectively - read, comprehend and communicate information relevant to the role
- Recognize, interpret and respond to non-verbal cues
- Have strong time management and advocacy skills, able to multi-task, exercise good judgement, strong collaboration and problem solving as part of a team
- Have knowledge of basic anatomy, physiology, normal development and behavior
- Recognize the importance of personal wellness as it relates to seniors care

**Job Type**: Casual

**Salary**: From $28.00 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- 10 hour shift
- 12 hour shift
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Evening shift
- Holidays
- Morning shift
- Night shift
- On call
- Weekends as needed
