PUBPOL 741: Principles of Effective Communication

This skills lab provides a review of the essential elements of effective communication across written, oral, and digital mediums. Its objective is to develop professional writing competencies so that students are able to communicate complex topics in a range of fora.

**This course has a combination of synchronous and asynchronous online delivery.**

Number of Units Per Section: 1.5

Projected Enrolment: 25-30 (capped 60)

**Wage rate**:$5000.00 (per 1.5 unit course)

Applicants must have an area of specialization in complex communication across a range of mediums. The Faculty of Social Sciences and MPP-DS have significant strengths in the areas of research, teaching and mentorship. The successful applicant will teach at graduate level and have a demonstrated track record of excellent teaching.

The incumbent will be appointed at the appropriate rank with MPP-DS, located on the main university campus to begin on **May 1st, 2023.**
