Tutor in The Classroom

The Tutor in the Classroom Allocation supports school boards in initiating extra help for students to enhance their literacy and/or numeracy skills. School boards can work with schools to design and structure tutoring programs to best fit their need and provide tutoring services for elementary students.

**WHAT YOU BRING**:
Current student or graduate of a Faculty of Education

An understanding of child development and learning strategies

Strong literacy and/or numeracy skills

A willingness to work with students with different capabilities

**WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT**:
Provide support in numeracy and/or literacy for emerging learners in consultation with the Classroom Teacher

Part-time hours available starting July 6 until July 28, 2023

St. Denis Catholic Elementary School, St. Catharines;
St. Martin Catholic Elementary School, Smithville;
St. John Henry Newman Catholic Elementary School, Niagara Falls;
Holy Name Catholic Elementary School, Welland

**RATE OF PAY**: $20.00 per hour
