Purpose: To provide safe effective, ethical care for patients before, during and after imaging examinations. To consistently perform high quality diagnostic imaging studies, and assist the Radiologist during interventional procedures.

Education and Training:

- Graduate of a Canadian Accredited Ultrasound Training Program
- Current registration with the College of Medical Radiation and Imaging Technologists of Ontario (CMRITO) required
- Ministry of Labour “Worker Health and Safety Awareness in 4 Steps” training certificate is required.

**Experience**:

- Demonstrated experience in small parts, general, obstetrical, MSK
- Vascular experience preferred and required within 1 year of hire
- NT (Nuchal Translucency) certification preferred and required within 1 year of hire
- Proven skill in the production of consistently high-quality ultrasound images.
- Experience in Ultrasound Special Procedures i.e. biopsies, is an asset.
