Material & Logistics Planner

Valcourt, Canada BRP Full time

Carry out the scheduling, release and delivery tracking of materials and parts required for production in order to meet production schedules and keep inventories to a minimum using just-in-time principles. You will be at the forefront of operations, working with suppliers and internal customers, such as the teams responsible for material handling, transport, procurement, engineering and quality assurance.

**DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Schedule and monitor the delivery of parts.

Work with suppliers and transport companies to find creative solutions to avoid production stoppages.

Analyze the best strategies to meet just-in-time objectives.

Manage business relationships with suppliers and negotiate in BRP's best interest.

Identify and coordinate improvement opportunities in relation to the team's objectives.

Establish a supplier recovery plan and meet with suppliers as required.

**PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATIONS**:
A degree in administration, operations management or any other related field, or a Diploma of College Studies (DEC) in administration or any other related field, including at least 18 months to 3 years experience.

Bilingual French and English both written and oral.

Solid knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and SAP software.

Available to travel, if required.

Ability to work independently and be a leader.

Ability to work under pressure in a constantly changing environment.

Good priority management and ability to work in a team.

Excellent communicator, ability to analyze and negotiate.
