We are hiring

Leonidas Port Credit is a high-end chocolate store and cafe in Port Credit, Mississauga. We are focused mainly on selling our amazing Belgian Chocolates, as well as making great coffee and ice cream. We are looking for an enthusiastic and upbeat Barista/Cashier to join our team and help us provide our customers with a great experience when they visit our store.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent

Shifts: Weekday or weekends, mornings primarily with some evenings

**Key responsibilities**:

- Processing orders on the POS terminal
- Greeting and serving customers in a polite and professional manner
- Promoting sales by providing information about our products
- Following established guidelines to prepare various coffee and tea drinks
- Serving soft cream ice-cream & gelato
- Maintaining high level of cleanliness in the store at all times

**Qualifications**:

- A high school diploma or equivalent
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Ability to walk, bend, and stand for extended periods
- Strong ability to problem solve and manage multiple priorities
- Punctuality
- Previous barista experience is a bonus but not necessary (we will teach you all you need to know).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time, Permanent, Casual, Seasonal
Contract length: 12 months
Part-time hours: 20 per week

**Salary**: From $15.50 per hour
