We are seeking a Gas SCADA Support Specialist to join our Control Centre Technology Systems Department in Winnipeg,
Manitoba.

**_ Responsibilities:_**
- Working as a technical specialist in the OSI Monarch system and associated infrastructure (Microsoft SQL, Oracle, and

OSISoft PI), provide technical direction, advice and consulting in development, deployment, and design of the Gas SCADA
environment.
- Lead the coordination and execution of software related maintenance and project activities including the development of

documentation, scheduling, testing, and integration.
- Responsible for the development and oversight of contracts associated with professional services for advanced database
- design and maintenance services.- Evaluate quotations and tenders submitted by suppliers and provide recommendations for the purchase or repair of system
- infrastructure to ensure compliance with specifications and evaluate alternatives.- Utilize advanced tools to troubleshoot and resolve complex problems on critical systems, involving multiple groups and
- departments throughout the corporation.- Identify training needs of other CCTS, System Control Department, and Gas Operations staff. Develop and conduct formal
- training where necessary.- Oversee activities of co-workers, consultants, or vendor representatives to upgrade Gas SCADA and OT systems. Function
- as a project lead, main contact, or coordinator for select Gas SCADA projects or initiatives.- Represent EMS Infrastructure & Applications at meetings with internal customers and external vendors to provide specialized
- technical consultation and advice regarding planning and implementation of EMS impactful projects.- Provide recommendations, technical reports, and solutions regarding maintenance and replacement of Gas SCADA
- infrastructure including hardware and software systems to CCTS and Gas Operations leadership and managers.- Respond to system emergencies at any time.
- Provide 24-hour support (standby) to the System Control Centre as part of the EMS Infrastructure and Applications on call

rotation.

**_ Qualifications:_**
- A two-year Diploma in Computer Programming or Electronic or Computer Technology from an institute of recognized standing

and a minimum of five years directly related experience in the field of information/computer technology.
OR
- An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

- OSI Monarch (openHIS, openFEP, PI Archiver, OpenViewNet, Viewpoint, continualMeter, DesignStudio, DataExplorer).
- ESX virtual environments.
- Microsoft Operating Systems.
- Microsoft Windows Server - Application Platform Services.
- Microsoft SQL server.
- Oracle Databases.
- GE Vernova Habitat and EMP Software.
- Internet/Intranet technologies and communications infrastructure.
- High availability computer and Network systems.
- Understanding of EMS and Gas SCADA systems and Networks and be able to solve complex problems during periods of high

stress.
- Demonstrated ability to establish and maintain successful working relationships with external and internal contacts in multiple

departments and positions.
- Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Demonstrated advanced level knowledge of IT and OT systems and networks.
- Demonstrated advanced level knowledge of NERC CIP Standards, Programs, and Procedures.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous learning and keeping pace with changing technology and related best practices.
- Demonstrated forward thinking and ability to identify and implement continuous improvement.
- Working knowledge of Lean and DevOps/DevSecOps.
- Obtain and maintain a current Personnel Risk Assessment and a "Clear" security rating in accordance with Manitoba Hydro
- policy P513.- Completed Critical Infrastructure Protection (CIP) Training prior to transfer and renewed annually.
