Nous sommes ravis d’agrandir notre équipe et recherchons des personnes dévouées qui:

- Sont situées dans le Sud-Ouest (PSC, St. Henri, Petite Bourgogne).
- Sont disponibles du lundi au vendredi entre 10 h et 16 h (+/- une heure).
- Sont prêtes à commencer à temps partiel tout en développant une clientèle.
- Sont ouvertes à des possibilités de garde d'animaux le week-end, en soirée et la nuit.
- Possèdent un permis de conduire valide et une voiture.
- Sont à l'aise avec la technologie, avec un smartphone doté d'une caméra et d'un forfait de données.
- Sont physiquement actives, capables de marcher 5 à 15 km par jour dans diverses conditions météorologiques.
- Ont d'excellentes compétences en communication, à l’écrit comme à l’oral.
- Sont en mesure de fournir un casier judiciaire vierge.
- Sont fiables, ponctuelles, et prêtes à apprendre et évoluer au sein d'une petite entreprise dirigée par des femmes.
- Sont autonomes et capables de gérer leur propre emploi du temps, tout en étant capables de travailler en équipe.
- Sont à l’aise de travailler en tant que sous-traitantes indépendantes (responsables de leurs propres impôts, etc.).

**Qualifications supplémentaires**:

- Des connaissances en comportement canin sont un atout, mais aucune expérience professionnelle en promenade de chiens n'est nécessaire - une formation complète sera fournie

**Responsabilités principales**:

- Arriver à l'heure à tous les rendez-vous.
- Garantir la sécurité et le bien-être des chiens sous votre responsabilité.
- Offrir un excellent service client en respectant les demandes spécifiques des propriétaires (nourrissage, laisse, règles domestiques, etc.).
- Maintenir une communication claire et rapide avec les clients, en les tenant informés de tout problème ou changement concernant leurs animaux.
- Travailler à l'extérieur quelles que soient les conditions météorologiques.
- S'engager à traiter chaque animal avec respect et bienveillance, sans jamais utiliser d'outils coercitifs ou de techniques aversives.

**Wagging Tails is Hiring Dog Walkers**

We’re excited to grow our team and are searching for dedicated individuals who are:

- Located in the Southwest (PSC, St. Henri, Little Burgundy).
- Available Monday to Friday between 10 AM - 4 PM (+/- an hour).
- Ready to start part-time while building a clientele.
- Open to potential weekend, evening, and overnight pet-sitting opportunities.
- In possession of a valid driver’s license and car.
- Tech-savvy, with a smartphone that has a camera and data plan.
- Physically active, able to walk 5-15 km per day in various weather conditions.
- Strong communicators, both written and oral.
- Able to provide a clean criminal record check.
- Reliable, punctual, and eager to learn and grow in a small, female-run business.
- Independent and able to manage their own schedule, while also being a team player.
- Comfortable working as an independent sub-contractor (responsible for your own taxes, etc.).

**Bonus Qualifications**:

- A working knowledge of dogs and canine behavior is an asset, but no professional dog walking experience is necessary - we provide full training

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Arrive on time for all appointments.
- Ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs in your care.
- Provide excellent customer service, adhering to specific client requests (e.g. feeding, leashing, house rules, etc.).
- Complete appointments using our dog walking app.
- Maintain clear and timely communication with clients, keeping them informed of any issues or changes regarding their pets.
- Work outdoors in all weather conditions.
- Promise to treat every animal with kindness and respect, avoiding any aversive handling tools or techniques.
- Keep your schedule and availability up to date via our digital tools (shared calendar, dog walking app).

**Job Types**: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $300.00-$1,500.00 per week

Expected hours: 10 - 30 per week
