Receiver/material Handler

Ottawa, Canada Tallysman Wireless Full time

Tallysman Wireless®, a wholly owned subsidiary of Calian Group Ltd., is an Ottawa-based producer of antennas and R.F. components for Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) Products.

**Responsibilities and Duties**:
Provide and ensure accurate material control and identification of materials. (ex. cycle count program, investigate & reconcile inventory discrepancies, execute warehouse transfer processes).

Manage deliveries for materials from suppliers or external warehouses into Tallysman’s warehouse.

Liaise with Manufacturing, Production Planning, Purchasing, Shipping and Quality, working as a team to facilitate timely and accurate receipt and delivery of materials to the production environment.

Constantly review issues and improvement opportunities within the Supply Chain Team.

Assist with product shipping or manufacturing during peak times.

Work safely in compliance with Tallysman’s Health & Safety Program, and Business Conduct Policies.

Perform other appropriate activities as instructed by the Supply Chain Manager.

**Qualifications and Skills**:
A self-starter with the ability to set and handle multiple priorities.

Experience working with MRP/ERP systems.

Ability to communicate and interact effectively.

Ability to work equally well as part of a team or individually.

Organized with a strong attention to detail.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Basic Computer proficiency in Excel and Outlook.

Lift Truck License is an asset.

Driver’s License is an asset.

Exposure to Lean Manufacturing concepts is an asset.
