**QA Analyst**

Additionally, the QA Analyst will be responsible for analyzing requirements, drawing up test documents, executing functional and regression tests, and executing and monitoring automated tests. Separately, the QA Analyst will work on troubleshooting quality issues, implementing test strategies and procedures, executing and gathering manual and automated test results, and ensuring a successful product release.

Previous positions you may have held could include QA Analyst or QA Engineer.

**What You'll Do**
- Analyze requirements and user stories
- Design and develop test plans and test cases for front-end and back-end testing
- Execute functional and regression tests manually and through automation
- Provide test results in a manner that is easily consumable by technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Work with development, release management and other stakeholders
- Take ownership of the maintenance, and requirements for testing environments
- Projects or duties outlined as the QA Manager sees fit

**Qualifications / Experience**
- 5+ years experience as a software QA tester/analyst with a focus on frontend UI and backend (database, API, command line interface) testing
- Degree in a relevant discipline or technical diploma
- Experience with quality assurance and testing methodologies relative to Software Development Life Cycle and Agile Development
- Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to liaise with developers, operations, and customer support
- Strong analytical skills with excellent problem solving and debugging abilities
- Knowledgeable with data-driven test case development
- Familiar with enterprise database systems such as MySql or MS Sql Server
- UI and API test automation experience with one or more programming languages such as javascript, java,.Net or C#

**Bonus Points**
- Prior experience with non-functional testing (such as performance, load, stress, etc.)
- VoIP experience, specifically with Asterisk
