Do you like to supervise and manage guest room inventory while working in fast-paced environment? If so, join our team Your attention to detail, efficiency, and teamwork will contribute to the overall success of the Wall Centre.
**What your day will look like**:
- Manage/balance inventory across multiple systems - Lightspeed / One Yield / CI / Marsha and ensure property inventory fully balanced in each system.
- Review all Group & Tour projections in CI from Sales once contract goes Definite.
- Coordinate with Group & Tour Reservations, and Events, to ensure accuracy of Group & Tour Actualizations and conduct One Yield Supply maintenance.
- Attend daily / weekly / ad hoc projection meetings.
- Work with the Revenue Team, and Group & Tour Reservations to determine whether to accept rooms above block, pre/post nights.
- Manage Out of Order Rooms as instructed by Front Office / Operations.
- Sync Out of Order Rooms between Lightspeed / Marsha / One Yield.
- Communicates between departments to minimize disruptions caused by Out of Order inventory.
- Oversee FIT Blocks, Airline Blocks, and Sales Hold Blocks.
**Your experience and skills include**:
- Strong Lightspeed Property Management System knowledge is required.
- CI/TY / Marsha / One Yield experience is an asset.
- 2 years previous Front Desk/Reservations/Revenue Management at a Legacy Marriott hotel.
- Must have strong communication skills in English, verbal and written.
- Must be able to implement and maintain Wall Centre and Marriott standards, policies and procedures.
- High self-initiative, self-starter, dependable and able to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- MS Word and Excel knowledge is an asset.
- Walking and standing for long periods of time may be required; you must be able to exert a well-paced mobility to get to other departments in the hotel on a timely basis.
- Must be able to sit at a desk for more than 8 hours a day, with the ability to spend extended lengths of time viewing a computer screen.
- Scheduling flexibility including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and stat holidays.
- In addition to working 4 weekdays each week, this position will work most Saturdays to assist with weekend coverage, 8:30am - 5:00pm. Some Sundays will apply. Some exceptions will apply.
- Office location: On property at the Sheraton Vancouver Wall Centre Hotel
