**Duties**:

- Perform dental hygiene procedures, including cleaning, scaling, and polishing teeth
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Educate patients on oral hygiene practices and provide personalized recommendations
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide as needed
- Assist the dentist during procedures and maintain a sterile environment
- Document patient treatment plans and progress in electronic health record systems (Epic, Eaglesoft, Dentrix)
- Perform medical coding for dental procedures

**Skills**:

- Valid dental hygienist license in [state]
- Proficiency in using electronic health record systems such as Epic, Eaglesoft, or Dentrix
- Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures and techniques
- Excellent communication skills to educate and interact with patients
- Attention to detail for accurate documentation and medical coding

**Salary**: $34.46-$50.20 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Woodbridge, ON L4L 4K9: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Dental Hygienist License (required)
