Slate Roofer

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Slate Roofer to join our team. As a Slate Roofer, you will be responsible for installing, repairing, and maintaining slate roofs on residential and commercial buildings. You will work with a variety of tools and materials to ensure high-quality craftsmanship and durability of the roofing systems.

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Install new slate roofs according to specifications and safety guidelines.
- Inspect and assess the condition of existing slate roofs to determine repair needs.
- Perform repairs and replacements of damaged or worn slate tiles.
- Ensure proper alignment and secure attachment of slate tiles to roofing structures.
- Utilize hand tools, power tools, and equipment for cutting, shaping, and fitting slate tiles.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively with clients.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Provide recommendations and solutions to clients regarding slate roof maintenance and care.

**Job Types**: Full-time, Fixed term contract, Casual, Seasonal
Contract length: 5 months

Pay: $30.00-$40.00 per hour

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Morning shift
- Weekends as needed

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay
