The IT Manager is responsible for managing company infrastructure, systems, security, and troubleshooting. Working closely with operational leaders, the IT Manager will provide hands-on support and strategic decision-making for technology and tools.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- Oversee day-to-day IT operations
- On premise hardware infrastructure oversight and standardization
- Implement and manage internal help desk process
- Identify security vulnerabilities and develop solutions to reduce risk
- Research and evaluate emerging technologies
- Troubleshoot employee technical difficulties, escalate to service providers as necessary
- Train users on software, hardware, and mobile services
- Establish and maintain Service Level Standards for IT team
**Qualifications**:
- Post-secondary degree or diploma in Information Technology or a related field
- 5+ years of experience as an IT Manager or Team Leader
- Proficient with the Microsoft 365 ecosystem
- Knowledge of Explorer/Eclipse software is an asset
- Familiarity with construction or an adjacent field is an asset
- Strong analytical thinking, understanding of technical information, problem-solving, planning, and organizational skills
- Skilled at implementing, configuring, and testing software and hardware solutions
