We are currently recruiting for a **Vice President of Sales** to join our team of dedicated professionals in Amherst, Nova Scotia.

Reporting directly to the President & CEO, the Vice President of Sales will be responsible to develop and implement the company’s short and long-range sales strategies and objectives and lead the sales team to meet or exceed those objectives.

**Responsibilities**:

- Recruits, trains, motivates, and directs Business Development Managers.
- Establishes sales territories, forecasts, and objectives; monitors performance.
- Directs the flow of information from sales activities and transactions (leads, billings, orders, contracts, and agreements) to appropriate internal personnel to ensure sales objectives are met.
- Makes recommendations on pricing policy, including price levels, sales terms, and special pricing arrangements.
- Works with Inside Sales to ensure all potential clients are managed appropriately through the sales funnel.
- Directs the maintenance of the company’s sales records within CRM.
- Promotes positive corporate relations with customers.
- Identifies sales force training needs; works with management and Human Resources to provide appropriate training for improved sales performance.
- Cultivates and maintains effective business relationships with key decision makers.
- Monitors competitive activities in each territory to ensure appropriate response strategies are formulated, communicated, and implemented, both internally and externally.
- Abides by all Emmerson Packaging’s Management System policies, follows procedures, work instructions and other requirements including adherence to EH&S Act regulations.
- Performs other duties as required by the President & CEO.
