Safety Watch

The Safety Watch is responsible for supporting crews on site with various Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) related tasks, including confined space watch, data collection and support for HSE advisors and managers.

**Responsibilities**:

- Acquire and maintain adequate certifications as required
- Attend and participate at safety meetings
- Complete site safety documentation daily
- Confined space hole watch
- Ensure safety hazards and environmental risks are identified and controlled through ICT’s established programs and site-specific safety plans
- Identify and assist with prioritizing site safety conditions
- Work directly with supervisor and HSE personnel
- Bring a positive, ‘can-do’, ‘safety first’ attitude every day
- Comply with all safety requirements
- Must provide proof of completion of all required safety certifications
- Participate with the team to build and maintain a productive and safe work environment.
- Punctual attendance is a requirement
- Successfully complete a pre-employment drug and alcohol test

Qualifications:

- Site specific training provided H2S Alive or Awareness, preferred
- Confined Space Entry and/or Rescue
- CSTS 2020
- WHMIS 2015
- Standard First Aid preferred
- CSA Steel toed boots required. All other PPE is provided.
- Class 5 or greater Drivers License

**Salary**: $22.50 per hour

Schedule:

- 10 hour shift
- Weekend availability

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Prentiss, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

Licence/Certification:

- Class 5 Licence (required)

Work Location: One location
