Shop Foreman

**Position Description**
As a shop foreman, you will assist the service manager to hire team members, monitor work activity, work with clients and customers, order supplies, fix equipment, and enforce rules and regulations associated with safe operations of the job site. You will be responsible and accountable for the training of team members. The following is a list of duties, responsibilities, and key performance indicators.
**Essential Duties and Responsibilities of a Shop Foreman**
- Provides team members training.
- Oversees daily work of team members.
- Warns, disciplines, or terminates team members not working to company standards.
- Processes customer and client work orders.
- Enters customer and job information into computer database.
- Assigns duties to shop workers.
- Assists in repair, and maintenance or other tasks involved in client work orders.
- Reviews work completed to ensure it is up to quality standards.
- Enforces all health and safety policies in the shop.
- Ensures that all deadlines are met.
- Addresses and resolves customer issues and complaints.
- Inspects and cleans shop equipment.
- Fixes equipment and machinery as necessary.
- Ensures that shop area is clean, organized, and free of dangerous or hazardous material.
- Ensure preventative maintenance and annual inspections are carried out.

- Is qualified to operate heavy machinery.
**Education and Experience**
- Journeyman Red Seal Ticket - Heavy Duty Mechanic
- 2 Years: Shop experience required.
- 2 Years: Managerial or supervisory experience required.
Supplemental pay types:
- Overtime pay
Ability to commute/relocate:
- Nisku, AB: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent
**Salary**: $48.00-$50.00 per hour
