Our caring doctors and staff work very closely with your own Optometrist to ensure that the highest standard of care is provided as you consider refractive or intraocular eye surgery.

**Job Summary**
- Operate and maintain sterilization equipment and instrumentation for re-use according to CPSO OHP standardized safety practices.
- Prepare instruments for sterilization and restock supplies.
- Run biological monitoring tests (Rapid Attest) daily on all sterilizers and ensure proper documentation of records.
- Perform Dart test and leak test daily on large sterilizers and ensure proper documentation of records.
- Support cleaning in O.R. theatres between cases per established standards.
- Ensure disposition of laundry, garbage, sharps and bio-hazardous waste according to established procedure.

**Education and Experience**
- Certified through successful completion of CSA group certification within 14 days of start date - Required
- Sterile Processing Certificate from recognized Canadian Post-Secondary Institution.
- High School Diploma from recognized Canadian Secondary Institution required.
- Comprehensive ability to communicate in English both verbally and in written format.
- Working knowledge of and recent experience in Sterile Processing of Surgical Instruments required.
- Experience an Asset
- Excellent attendance.

**Job Types**: Part-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $20.00-$22.00 per hour
