**Description**:
As a dental technician you will be responsible for helping to improve teeth and for replacing lost teeth. You'll improve teeth for aesthetic reasons, and work to the prescription of a dentist to make bridges, crowns, and dentures.

**General Responsibilities**:

- Digitize dental models using scanners
- Prepare cases for CAD designers or transfer files to other design centers
- Make sure all Rx's are being followed in the department
- Ensure all material manufacturers' instructions are being followed
- Spot-check incoming work (bites, copings, opaque, abraded dies, etc.)
- Spot-check outgoing work
- Perform other duties or projects as assigned by management

**Qualifications**:

- 3Shape or Medit hardware and software experience
- Certification as a Registered Dental Technician or equivalent education and experience
- One year experience in dental technology
- Must have a basic understanding of dental anatomy
- Must possess proficient English and French skills, both written and verbal
- Must possess effective oral communication and interpersonal skills with ability to deal with all levels of personnel in a professional and effective manner**Assistant scanner numérique**

**La description**:
En tant que prothésiste dentaire, vous serez responsable d'aider à améliorer les dents et de remplacer les dents perdues. Vous améliorerez les dents pour des raisons esthétiques et travaillerez selon la prescription d'un dentiste pour fabriquer des ponts, des couronnes et des prothèses dentaires.

**Responsabilités générales**:

- Numériser des modèles dentaires à l'aide de scanners
- Préparer des cas pour les concepteurs CAO ou transférer des fichiers vers d'autres centres de conception
- Assurez-vous que tous les Rx sont suivis dans le département
- Assurez-vous que toutes les instructions des fabricants de matériaux sont suivies
- Contrôle ponctuel des travaux entrants (morsures, chapes, matrices opaques, abrasées, etc.)
- Contrôle ponctuel des travaux sortants
- Effectuer d'autres tâches ou projets assignés par la direction

**Qualifications**:

- Expérience matérielle et logicielle 3Shape ou Medit
- Certification en tant que technicien dentaire agréé ou formation et expérience équivalentes
- Un an d'expérience en technologie dentaire
- Doit avoir une compréhension de base de l'anatomie dentaire
- Doit posséder de bonnes compétences en anglais et en français, tant à l'écrit qu'à l'oral
- Doit posséder des compétences efficaces en communication orale et en relations interpersonnelles avec la capacité de traiter avec tous les niveaux de personnel de manière professionnelle et efficace
