**About Us**

Central Construction Group is a family owned earthwork construction located in Wetaskiwin with offices in Edmonton, Fox Creek and Grande Prairie. We specialize in oilfield construction and civil earthwork projects, aggregate and material supply, and equipment sales/rentals. Established in 1973 Central has developed into a stable and dependable construction company delivering challenging projects to various clients over the years.

We are hiring immediately for a skilled labourer to work in Edmonton, Wetaskiwin, and Fox Creek.

**Job Summary**
- Promotion of Central's Health Safety and Environmental management plan and system
- Willingness to learn the safe operation of skidsteers, packers and rock trucks.
- Labour support of earthwork operations including culvert installation, hand digging, rigging, traffic control, placing geotêxtile, and general operation of small tools and/or light equipment.
- Working outside of town for multiple days at a time if necessary
- Daily reporting of your field time to office staff
- Daily servicing and maintenance of equipment

**Job Type/ Category**
- Earthwork construction of roads, pad sites, leases, water reservoirs and other industrial facilities.
- Work is located in Central Alberta, Edmonton, Fox Creek and Grande Prairie; hotels and camps will be paid by Central when applicable
- Supply of fire retardant coveralls, gloves and safety glasses
- Continual training and development opportunities

**Required Education, Skills and Qualifications**
- Minimum 1 years experience in the construction industry
- Experience on larger earthworks sites is an asset
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to work longer hours and night shifts if required. We will coordinate a shift schedule for work/life balance
- Ability to keep up with a fast paced environment that is forever changing
- Knowledge of construction equipment, common techniques, materials and standards related to earthwork construction in Alberta
- Valid Class 5 drivers license and a clean drivers abstract

**Job Types**: Full-time, Permanent

**Salary**: $21.00-$26.00 per hour
