**Job Summary**:
**Specific Responsibilities**
- Create and implement a comprehensive operational excellence strategy that aligns with organizational objectives and drives continuous improvement.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of current processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements to optimize performance including identifying opportunities to leverage technology such as process automation to enable efficiencies.
- Utilize data analytics to measure performance, identify trends, and support decision-making processes.
- Document and share best practices across the organization to foster a culture of operational excellence.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to teams on operational excellence principles and tools, facilitating knowledge transfer and skill development.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and support for operational excellence initiatives.
- Support organizational change efforts related to process improvements and operational changes.
- Establish and track key performance indicators (KPIs) to assess the effectiveness of improvement initiatives.
**Minimum Qualifications**
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field; advanced degree is a strong asset
- 8-10 years of experience in operational excellence, process improvement, or related areas, with a strong track record of successful implementation.
- 3-5 years of experience in patient services, pharmacy programs, call centers, or related specialty healthcare fields is a strong asset.
- Six Sigma Black Belt certification is required.
**Key Competencies**
- Prior experience leading/managing projects to drive continuous improvement initiatives a strong asset
- Prior experience working with digital tools and technology to enable efficiencies.
- Excellent leadership and mentorship skills; self-starter, decisive, and results oriented.
- Strong interpersonal skills; excels in a team environment.
- Excellent communication skills; impeccable written and spoken English skills.
- Ability to develop and facilitate high-quality presentations.
- Proven ability to motivate, influence, and coach others.
- Strong analytical skills and ability to approach issues from multiple perspectives.

This is determined by several factors, including performance, experience and skills, equity, regular job market evaluations, and geographical markets. The pay range shown below is aligned with McKesson's pay philosophy, and pay will always be compliant with any applicable regulations. **Our Base Pay Range for this position**
$104,600 - $174,300
